Horsebridge builds large-scale and complex radio networks to connect distributed sites in difficult-to-access environments. Horsebridge turned to Camworth for assistance when it won a large contract to build a network infrastructure and deliver other IT services. We took an IT consultancy role at Horsebridge, working across many areas of the solution. We collaborated on the IP network design, the delivery of the unified communications solution and the contact centre elements of the project. Working as an integrated part of the Horsebridge team, we built a strong relationship with both the company and its customers.
Faced with a discontinued telephony system and a growing business, Granger Reis approached Camworth to design, supply and implement a unified communications system for its main office. As a managed service provider, we worked with the company’s desktop supplier to install, migrate and train staff to use the communications system under tight time constraints. This included a full network infrastructure refresh and the implementation of new features, such as voicemail and desktop messaging. The system was then extended to the company’s first remote office and a secure VPN was set up between locations. Its staff can now hot desk and work from either site with ease. The system can also grow to match Granger Reis’ needs in the years ahead.
Liquid Telecommunications needed help and guidance to migrate its core network infrastructure to the latest Cisco routing platforms. We worked with them to understand the requirements and proposed the correct solutions, with support from Cisco. When there was an urgent need to implement new voice IVR, voicemail and directories, we delivered a comprehensive suite of functionality under tight time constraints. Being part of Cisco’s Global Partner Network (GPN) has allowed us to deliver throughout Africa with ease and overcome the international logistical challenges.
Custodian needed help to choose the right configuration for its next generation routing platform, the Cisco ASR family. We used our network security and data centre solutions expertise to work together, gain a full understanding of the company’s requirements and propose the best technical and commercial solution. We were also able to help Custodian implement a cost-effective and reliable DWDM solution thanks to our partnership with fibre optical network solutions firm SmartOptics And, in conjunction with Riello, we designed and deployed a UPS system with diverse dual feeds to support its data centre’s four data halls.
